Today, many enterprises in various fields of production need efficient packaging lines. Packaging (bagging) equipment is an integral part of many production processes and allows you to automate and optimize the packaging of finished products.
This is especially relevant in agriculture and various industries. Various products, such as: sugar, grain, cereals, seeds, mineral fertilizers, pellets, as well as other well-flowing products, are packed in open-type sewing bags.
For the continuous operation of such a packaging complex, it is important to ensure the maximum level of automation. But, fully automatic packaging lines are manufactured and supplied by foreign manufacturers, and the cost of such equipment is very high. In this regard, domestic manufacturers focus on the production and supply of semi-automatic packaging lines.
In Ukraine, SPF “Sweda, Ltd” serially produces a packaging complex consisting of the weight batcher SWEDA DWS-301-50-1 and the bag sewing line SWEDA LZM.
This complex is designed for packing bulk products in open (sewing) bags, and has a capacity of up to 400 bags per hour. In addition, our company also manufactures even more productive packaging complexes with a capacity of up to 600 bags per hour. As part of such a line, the weight batcher with a transfer hopper SWEDA DWS-301-50-1PB is used, which provides even greater capacity and efficiency of packing.
The work process of a semi-automatic packaging complex looks like this. The operator puts the bag on the mouth of the batcher, while closing the electromechanical limit switches. At the signal of the switches, the bag clamping mechanism is activated and the process of filling it with the product is started, which then happens automatically without the operator’s involvement.
After the set dose of the product is set, the bag clamp is disconnected and the bag is released. If a special bag sewing line is used as part of the packaging line, the bag enters its conveyor. The line operator turns on the conveyor motor to move the bag to the sewing area, tucks the neck of the bag under the foot of the sewing machine, which sews the bag as it moves.
