Batcher DWS ‑ 301-50-5 with manual mechanical clamping of the bag is designed for batching granular and lumpy products with a fraction size of up to 40 mm into open-type bags. Packing is carried out without the use of compressed air.
A feature of this batcher is its mobility. If necessary, the batcher can be quickly mounted using a forklift under the customer’s measuring hopper and filled into open bags. Upon receipt of an order for packing into other containers or bags, the batcher can be removed, and the supply hopper can be used for another purpose.
ALGORITHM OF OPERATIION
The operator puts the bag over the neck and manually fixes it with a mechanical clamping device. Then he presses the “Start” button on the button station. Further work is done automatically. The batcher switches to the batching mode – measuring and indicating the weight of the batched material. The weight processor issues a command to turn on the belt conveyor at the speed of fast filling with the batched material (“Coarse” mode). The indicator shows the current weight and changeable total. As soon as the current weight reaches the setpoint “Coarse”, the weight processor will command a decrease in belt speed (mode “Fine”) and the bag will fill slowly.
When the weight of the material reaches the value of the setting “Fine”, the weight processor issues a command to stop the operation of the belt conveyor and, accordingly, the supply of the material to be weighed. The end of the batching process is indicated by the “Dose” signal indicator mounted on the push-button station. The operator opens the mechanical clamping device to release the bag.
