Hopper scales WBA-450-E-40 are designed for weighing and summarizing the mass of bulk materials. Provide batch dosing with a specified capacity.

CONSTRUCTION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The scales construction is compact and easy to maintain.
1 – bracket for intake neck; 2 – receiving throat of material feed;
3 – loading gate; 4 – weighing hopper; 5 – hopper rack; 6 – sampler cabinet; 7 – unloading gate; 8 – grounding bolt; 9 – strain gauge with self-aligning leg; 10 – strain gauge junction box; 11 – electric drive of unloading; 12 – control cabinet;
13 – weight processor PW-310 or weight processor PW-310i in an external casing; 14 – electric drive of loading.
The hopper is mounted on load cells, the upper and lower sector gates are driven by corresponding electric drives. The scales operation is controlled by the weight processor PW-310 or weight processor PW-310i. The processor processes the signal from the load cells, controls the electric drive for opening and closing the weighing hopper gates, displays the current value of the material mass in the weighing hopper, the portion weight, the growing total of the material passed through the hopper and other current parameters of the scales on the indicator of the weighing processor.
The scales are designed according to a special order for a large mining and processing plant and are intended for loading railway cars with products – dusty, finely dispersed concentrate. 8 sets of such scales have been successfully operated for several years.
