Principle of operation:
The material to be batched enters the conveyor belt from the feed hopper through the gate and the feed neck. The neck with an adjusting gate forms the height of the material layer on the belt. The conveyor is driven by a geared motor by using a drive drum.
The weighing instrument converts the load on the belt into a proportional electrical signal. The belt speed sensor is connected to the axis of the driven drum. The signals from the weighing device and the belt speed sensor are fed to the weight processor PW-310, in which the digital transformation and processing of these signals is carried out. According to the processing results, the corresponding output current signal (4-20) mA is generated, which sets the frequency of the private inverter and, therefore, changes the rotation speed of the geared motor so that the batcher capacity is equal to the specified one.
The weight processor can exchange data with additional external devices (personal computer, remote display) on two buses of the standard RS-485 interface.
