Bag accounting systems

PURPOSE

The bag weight accounting system SUM-232 is designed to count packages (bags, boxes) with products moving in a stream along a conveyor belt during their transportation to a warehouse or shipment.

At the same time, the system provides:

• Accurate counting of packages regardless of their location on the conveyor belt (end-to-end, overlapping, across the belt, etc.);
• Storing information about the operation of the system (errors, shutdowns, accidents, etc.) in the computer event log;
• Control of a given number of bags during their shipment to the Customer’s transport (wagon, truck);
• Indication of the number of bags at the same time on several remote displays (warehouse, head of the enterprise, shipping center, etc.).

APPLICATION

The bag accounting system SUM-231 is used at enterprises of various industries, warehouses and terminals. Its use makes it possible to exclude the theft of finished products, speed up the process of its shipment to the Customer, and save material resources.

The bag accounting system SUM-232 has been serially produced by “Sweda, Ltd” since 1994 and is successfully operated at more than 100 enterprises in Ukraine and the CIS countries.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The principle of operation of the system is based on measuring the weight of packages and the speed of their movement.

For this, the bag accounting system SUM-232 includes a weighing platform with a load cell, a conveyor belt speed sensor (BSS), and a pair of recording photosensors installed under the conveyor belt.

According to the signals from these 3 sources of information, the weight processor PW-310 of the system, according to a special program, processes them and counts the packages.
